Gas was six months old. I had to ride. And it was good.

I had not ridden the motorcycle (except for maintenance rides inside the housing development) for maybe six months. My gas was getting old, old, old, although I did finally put a bit of Liqui Moly fuel stabilizer in the tank.

I got up early, and the weather wasn't bad, and the traffic wasn't bad. Even the diesel fumes weren't too bad until the end of the ride when I had to trail some semis.

What a nice ride down memory lane! I ran out most of my old gas. Filled up with brand new gas. And added the right amount of fuel stabilizer when I got home. But I hope I don't need it. That motorcycle ride felt good, and I need to do it more often. Not too bad if you go early enough.

Finally delved into the Dell XPS 17 9700 black screen issue. Reseated the display cable. Powered it up. Video was back. Lasted less than one evening until I was back to black screen again. A new display cable is a $37 bet. Should arrive by June 23rd.

Still fun to look at new motorcycles.

There is no uncertainty. I won't be buying any more motorcycles in Thailand due to environmental conditions (extreme heat, nearly constant air pollution, diesel fumes everywhere always). But it's still fun looking at what's for sale.
