At 20250710-1842, we finally located the Dinosaur Bird roost. We had been watching them every evening for a while, flying low over our housing complex just before dusk.
Admittedly, they are not "dinosaur birds." That was just my way of describing them as looking something like pterodactyls. They are probably a type of crane or stork. If you happen to know, please let me know.
I love watching these birds glide. Given the right wind conditions, they don't have to flap their wings at all.
