As an anti-Facebook crusader, this blog is my alternative for keeping in touch with family and friends. Note: You have to press Play twice to play a video: Once to load the video and then again to actually play it. Use the Older Post(s) link to view posts in reverse chronological order.
Even if somebody trims you back to almost nothing, does the equivalent of cutting off nearly all your branches, come back strong. That's what our tree does. No complaining. It just grows right back every time.

This is my second Corolla, albeit the 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid GR Sport SUV instead of the traditional sedan. It looks a bit sporty, doesn't it? I say my car, but my partner tends to be the driver. I only drive often enough to maintain my status as backup driver. I drive a bit more on road trips, though. At any rate, so far so good with this car. The Toyota Corolla abides.

It's biological fact and an important health issue. I've never understood why anyone would oppose sex education. Props to the school and government officials of Nakhon Ratchasima. I spotted this display outside a public clinic in the shopping mall. I was shameless enough to take a photo, but not brave enough to spin the wheel.

Possible "dinosaur birds" in the dead tree north of the main gate. I've only seen them there once, if they were, in fact, dinosaur birds. Of course, my so-called dinosaur birds don't actually exist. We only call them that because they bring to mind pterodactyls. But that's not even correct because it turns out that pterodactyls couldn't glide, and these birds often do.
I am a very shitty birder, I admit. There is some possibility that these are Asian Open-Billed Cranes. Give me a couple of years, and maybe I will get to confirmation. But maybe not. I enjoy watching them return to roost each evening regardless. They are fantastic gliders.

It's rare to see a dinosaur bird alone. But I have been seeing this one in the small forest area just south of the main gate. 20260316
